Jim Broadbent is upset at the lack of on-screen roles for older actors. Broadbent, who is 67, claims that fewer movies are being targeted at the older generation. That means that actors such as himself are finding it increasingly difficult to secure attractive roles. Broadbent revealed he doesn't understand American culture. Hollywood has never really appealed to him as a working environment.
