Selena Gomez and the stars of her series ?13 Reasons Why,? Alisha Boe and Tommy Dorfman, all got matching tattoos. Their tattoo is of a semicolon, which is an image that symbolizes suicide prevention. Underneath the photograph of their new meaningful tattoos, Gomez wrote, ?Wish the rest of the crew was with us today. Overwhelmed with the response and love ?13 Reasons Why? is receiving. Thank you to each beautiful person who has watched and talked about the message of our show.? The series is based off a book called ?13 Reasons Why,? and follows the story of a teenager who committed suicide and left 13 cassette tapes that explain why she did.
