Marvel fans are excited for Academy Award winning actress to take on Captain Marvel. Her solo film is set to release in 2019, however, fans might see her character as early as 2018 in the upcoming "Avengers: Infinity War" movie. In a recent interview, Larson opened up about the role and said: "She?s a believer in truth and justice and she is a bridge between two worlds, Earth and space." Larson added: "She?s fighting between the flaws that are within her and all this good she wants to try and spread and make the world a better place." Marvel studios has yet to announce a director for the film.
