Olivia Wilde will make her Broadway debut in a new stage adaptation of George Orwell's dystopic novel "1984." The play will also star Tony-award winning actor Reed Birney and Tom Sturridge. Orwell's classic novel was first published in 1949 and it tells the story of an oppressed society operated by Big Brother. The story was adapted into a play by Robert Icke and Duncan Macmillan. Performances will begin in May at the Hudson Theatre.
