Female First has reported that, Director, Christopher Nolan says his World War II drama 'Dunkirk' will transport viewers to the heart of the battle in which British led forces freed 330,000 Allied troops from the Nazis. Speaking at a special screening of footage at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Wednesday, Nolan told the audience: "I wanted to tell the story in the most visceral way possible, I wanted to take that audience and put them on that beach." The intense clip that was screened revealed previously unknown details such as who the characters portray. Tom Hardy plays a fighter pilot who resists the German army in the skies and Harry Styles is a young soldier trying to cross the bridge with an injured comrade in tow. Nolan added "This is the first time we're using IMAX cameras to their full effect." 'Dunkirk' is scheduled to hit cinemas in July.
