VIDEO : Cannes Film Festival Features Claudia Cardinale on its 70th Anniversary Poster

SFgate has reported that Italian actress Claudia Cardinale appears on the poster for the 2017 Cannes Film Festival. The poster was unveiled by festival organizers on Wednesday in advance of what will be the 70th Cannes. The poster features a photo of Cardinale dancing on a rooftop in Rome in 1959. In the Cannes press release that accompanied the poster release, Cardinale said she does not remember the name of the photographer, adding, ?But the photo reminds me of my origins, and of a time when I never dreamed of climbing the steps of the world?s most famous cinema hall.?
Cardinale is the latest in a string of movie stars who have graced the Cannes poster in recent years.
