The first look at Alicia Vikander in the upcoming big-screen Tomb Raider reboot has been released, and she looks very much like the Lara Croft longtime fans of the franchise will want to see. According to The Hollywood Reporter The images, which debuted this week on Vanity Fair's website, show the Ex Machina star as the new Croft, whose backstory goes through a makeover in director Roar Uthaug's upcoming Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. No longer a globe-trotting adventurer, this new Croft is a bike messenger who goes off in search of her missing father, starting with his last-known location: a tomb off the coast of Japan.
