At last year's Comic-Con in San Diego, California, Marvel Studios announced a major project: Captain Marvel starring the academy award winning actress, Brie Larson. Since the big annoucement, Larson has been open about her excitement for the 2019 film. She recently opened up to The Sunday Times about the upcoming film, and said she believes the project is very important, and added: ?I want to create this symbol of strength and humour for women that I really wish I had had growing up." She continued on, and explained that women see movies with male leads all the time, and men will go see movies with a female lead.
