Amy Schumer will no longer be playing Barbie in the new live-action film. In a statement Thursday, the comedian said she was no longer able to commit due to scheduling conflict. She continued by saying The film has a lot promise. She says she?s bummed, but looking forward to seeing Barbie on the big screen. The movie tells the story of how Barbie was cast out from Barbieland because she didn't fit in.
