Fans of "King of Queens" and star Leah Remini mark your calendars: CBS has just announced that the two-part season finale of "Kevin Can Wait" will reunite star Kevin James with his former on-screen wife. After debuting as the top new comedy of the season, a renewal for "Kevin Can Wait" - in which James stars opposite Erinn Hayes - was no surprise, but Remini's return certainly was not anticipated. The two spent 9 seasons together as husband and wife on the long-running CBS sitcom "King of Queens," starring in 206 episodes. Remini - whose high-profile feud with the Church of Scientology is documented on A&E's " Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath," will join James for their first TV appearance since their beloved sitcom went off the air in 2007. The two parter will air May 1st and 8th - with the storyline featuring James' character coming out of retirement to revisit an ongoing police investigation, where he and fellow cop Vanessa Cellucci - played by Remini - will have to pose as undercover husband and wife.
