Though character actor Michael Shannon is said to be in consideration, Fox and Marvel Studios have yet to announce who will play Cable in the upcoming sequel to last year's smash hit Deadpool.
However, actor Zazie Beetz has been announced as Deadpool 2's Domino, and if there's one person who has no doubts about the casting choice it's the creator of Deadpool himself, Rob Liefeld.
Liefeld says of the character he created back in 1991, "Domino is all about... the sass."
He continued, "You gotta understand, your gonna go up against Wade Wilson, who is, in this movie is Ryan Reynolds and trust ? I?m telling you, having been around Ryan multiple times that mouth cannot be stopped... and oh my gosh, I?m not sure that Ryan?s gonna keep up with her. I think Ryan Reynolds is gonna have to work hard to keep up with Zazie. I mean, wow. You just go ?That chemistry is going to be spectacular?. And that?s what it comes down to is the chemistry with these characters.?
Deadpool 2 is expected to hit theaters on January 12, 2018
