Carrie Fisher's tragic death will not change her final scenes in the future 'Star Wars' movies. Bob Iger, the CEO of Disney, has confirmed the upcoming Star Wars movies as well as the plot of Episode IX will not be modified after Fisher's December 2016 death. In a statement posted on Star Wars .com, Iger said "We want to assure our fans that Lucasfilm has no plans to digitally recreate Carrie Fisher's performance as Princess or General Leia Organa.
