Now he's back, older and wiser, and sharing details about his unlikely relationship with the late Prince, whom he parodied on his hit show, the Chappelle Show.
While speaking with Gayle King on CBS This Morning, Chappelle stated the late musician was really kind to him.
But during his childhood, Chappelle's sister had a chance encounter with Prince that made a lasting impression.
As a member of the audience, Dave's sister stood in the front row and got a guitar pick from Prince.
