Ellen DeGeneres had welcomed Claire Danes onto her daytime talk show, but before she sat down to chat with the Homeland actress, she had an announcement to make. She had showed the audience a splint that the hospital had put on after dislocating her ring finger. DeGeneres says, "I was a foot away from the door and I fell into the door and it did something to my finger, I knew something was wrong." DeGeneres is now fine and is continuing to entertain guests on her show, with her finger back in place.
