37 year old Welsh actor, Luke Evans, stars as Gaston in Disney's new live-action remake of "Beauty and the Beast." In a recent interview, Evans shared that he loved playing the role and found the "ridiculous, self-absorbed and terrifying" villain liberating to portray. He said: "It's liberating - you can't feel self-conscious about playing somebody like Gaston, you just have to go with it." Evans added that he not only enjoyed the obvious comic aspects of the role, but also the challenges with the action scenes. Evans said: "Stunts are a trust exercise," and added that you can't fear those new experiences.
