Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 is one of the most anticipated superhero films of the year, and comicbook.com was invited to the set to talk with the cast and crew! Dave Bautista, who plays Drax the Destroyer, one of the biggest breakout stars of the first film. Not only was Bautista's Drax a funny character (with his 24/7 literal frame of mind), he was also one of the most faithful adaptations of his comic book counterpart. According to Bautista, the hair and makeup team working on Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2. have streamlined the process of creating Drax onscreen. As the actor describes, "It's so easy, you wouldn't believe it. I'm not kidding. It takes like an hour and a half now." He contintues to say, "The last one, they got it down to four hours and everyone was celebrating. "Bautista painted up much faster, turns out that getting that paint off was a much slower process this time around.
