Ron Perlman recently reflected on one of his earliest roles. While chatting with The Hollywood Reporter the veteran actor talked about his experience on cult 80's tv series 'Beauty and The Beast." In the cult fantasy series Perlman took on the iconic role of the Beast. The actor shared that when he got the part, he had been kicking around Hollywood for a while but hadn't yet made it. Perlman went on to explain that the show was the first mainstream gig he ever got. The former 'Sons Of Anarchy' star also shared his appreciation for a big role stating that being on CBS primetime, playing one of the title characters was a momentous event in the creation of his career.
