In an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Wednesday, former Friends star Matthew Perry revealed that he went to elementary school with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Perry said, "My friend Chris Murray who was also in the fifth grade in Canada reminded me we actually beat up Justin Trudeau." According to Perry, he is not proud of his 10-year-old self, and he went on to say, "I'm not bragging about this. It's terrible. I was a stupid kid I didn't want to beat him up." He later joked that the whole ordeal may have been instrumental in Trudeau becoming a celebrated and wildly popular government official, saying, ""I think he said, 'I'm going to rise above this and I'm going to become prime minister.'"
