Chris Hemsworth thought he had been fired when his Marvel character didn't appear in 'Captain America: Civil War'. The 33-year-old actor has starred as the Norse deity Thor in the Marvel Cinematic universe since 2011's eponymously titled movie, but was concerned he'd been booted from the role when his character was notably missing from the script of the most recent 'Captain America' feature. The 2016 movie featured most of the cast of Marvel's ensemble venture 'The Avengers', including Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), but Thor did not make an appearance.
