According to Variety, Amazon Studios acquired the distribution rights to a new musical film titled 'Annette', which will star 'Star Wars Episode 7' actor Adam Driver and singer Rihanna. The movie, which will be directed by directed by French filmmaker Leos Carax, will also feature music by the 1970s glam rock group Sparks. The musical drama, which focuses on a widowed stand-up comic and his two-year-old daughter with a surprising gift, has been one of the hottest French projects to emerge from the last few film markets.
