On Tuesday actor Ben Affleck released a statement admitting he recently spent time in rehab for alcohol addiction. The revelation came via a statement on Affleck's Facebook page. Affleck said he recently completed treatment for alcohol addiction and that rehab is the "first of many steps toward a positive recovery." He also thanked his "co-parent" and soon-to-be ex-wife Jennifer Garner for supporting him and caring for their three kids.
