VIDEO : Jane Lynch Cast in Role Written for a Man

According to NBC, Jane Lynch has been cast in NBC?s comedy pilot ?Relatively Happy,? in a role that was originally written for a man.
According to the show?s executive producers Max Mutchnick & Jeff Astrof, ?The part was originally written as a man, until we realized the best PERSON for the job was Jane Lynch." Relatively Happy? follows an adult brother and sister who end up living together for the first time since they were children, after suffering a great loss.
Lynch will play Bobbi Martin, a fast-living, Scotch-drinking, three-piece-suit-wearing, womanizing divorce attorney who is Henry, the brother's, boss and mentor.
The pilot episode will be directed by James Burrows.
