It looks like Academy Award-winning "La La Land" writer and director, Damien Chazelle, has an exciting new project on the horizon. The film maker's screen play "The Claim" was just picked up by Oceanside Media. The story is a mystery thriller, and follows a single father trying to figure out what happened to his kidnapped daughter. On his journey, he fights another couple who insists the child is rightfully their's. Chazelle is not signed on to direct the project. As of now, a major U.S. distributor is in talks to release the movie in 2018.
