James Hewitt is a cavalry officer who had rumors spread about him that said he had an affair with Princess Diana and that he is Prince Harry?s real father. Hewitt has always denied these claims, and believes the rumors still circulate because ?it sell papers.? Still Hewitt told a playwright, creating a play about Princess Diana, that they did have an affair. He stated, ?Diana and I started our relationship more than a year before Harry was born. Now that doesn?t prove that I am his father. It?s just the inconvenient truth.?
