Even if the mystery of Jason Blossom?s murder gets resolved in the first season of Riverdale, the CW recently announced the adaptation of Archie Comics will continue into Season Two. Lili Reinhart has taken to social media to express her gratitude to the fans for their positive reactions to the series, being thankful to continue the opportunity to portray Betty Cooper for another season on the hit show. The actor writes: ?I feel the need to express how incredibly overjoyed and thrilled I am that we were given a season 2 pickup. To be a working actress with a steady job is something that I do not take for granted. And to be able to work alongside some of my best friends and make a living off of doing what I am most passionate about is something I thought I could only dream of.?
Riverdale is taking a short hiatus and will return with ?Chapter 8: The Outsiders? on Thursday, March 30 at 9pm ET.
