Edgar Wright?s latest film made its premiere at SXSW. Baby Driver certainly doesn?t scream ?vehicular violence perfectly choreographed to music,? and doesn?t feature a baby that drives cars. That?s probably why people love it so much and want to call it Wright?s best film. Ansel Elgort stars as Baby, the getaway driver that works to his own beat, with Lily James as his waitress love interest, Kevin Spacey as the crime boss, and a few other famous faces: Jon Hamm, Jamie Foxx, Flea, and Jon Bernthal? tossed in for good measure. The trailers for Baby Driver are practically like night and day if you watch them back to back. Both capture the pulse-pounding stunts being, but the latter seems to have more of the spirit involved. It definitely has the better soundtrack and seems to lend itself to what Wright is going for in this film. The film won?t hit theaters until August 11th.
