On Friday it was revealed that singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran's new album 'Divide' has became the fastest selling by a solo male artist in British chart history. According to new figures, 'Divide' sold approximately 672,000 in its first week, making it the third highest seller of all time. The Official Charts Company added on Friday that Sheeran's third studio album has already achieved "double platinum" status and has sold more copies than the rest of the records on the top 500 list combined.
