John Goodman, the affable everyman and versatile character cator, is being honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of fame.
The announcement comes before the relase of his new movie, the creature feature Kong: Skulll Island.
Goodman will get the star on Hollywood Boulevard March 10.
Goodman shot to fame playing Dan in the groundbreaking ABC sitcom Roseanne. He has also worked with the Coen Brothers in six of their comedies.
