Earlier this week Kristen Stewart debuted a shocking new hairstyle. She decided to buzz her head and dye it platinum blonde. There's an explanation behind the daring look though. Stewart said she chose the "practical" look for a new role in a film called Underwater in which she plays a mechanical engineer working on an oil rig. She joked, "I'm not going to be able to have touch-ups once I have the helmet on. I must shave my head." She said that it was the director's suggestion, but she did admit that she's been wanting to shave her head for a long time "for novel sake."
