Actor Lily Collins is pulling back the curtains on her strained relationship with her father, singer Phil Collins, in her new book of essays.
In the book, titled 'Unflitered: No Shame, No Regrets, Just me' she shared Phil Collins was not "the dad I expected,? and her ?deepest insecurities stem from these issues? with her dad.
Collins published an open letter to her dad in the book, forgiving him for ?not always being there,? according to BBC.
Lily did say, however, that it's not too late. "There?s still so much time to move forward,? writes Collins to her father.
