Steven Spielberg has recruited Oscar-winning Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks for his new movie about the Pentagon Papers, which revealed in 1972 that the US had secretly intensified the scale of the Vietnam War which caused bombings in Cambodia and Laos, and were not reported in the mainstream media. The plot, based on real life events, will see the duo take on the American Government for the right to expose the details of the war.
