Viola Davis has been given Harvard University's 2017 Artist of the Year award. The award comes just a week after her best supporting actress Oscar win for her role in "Fences." Davis was at the University attending the Cultural Rhythms Festival. Previous winners of the Harvard Artist of the Year award include Quincy Jones, Andy Garcia, Matt Damon, Salma Hayek and Shakira.
