Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell starred in the 1987 original. Anna Faris and Mexican star Eugenio Derbez will topline Overboard, MGM?s remake of the 1980s comedy. Pantelion Films, the joint venture between Lionsgate and Grupo Televisa, and 3Pas Studios are also behind the project. The update switches the combo and will see spoiled playboy from one of Mexico?s wealthiest families (Derbez) who falls overboard off his yacht, and is convinced by a single, working class mom (Faris) that he is her husband.
