While receiving the Innovator Award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday evening Bruno Mars promised new music. Mars says he "genuinely feels like he is just getting started" in the industry and urged his fans to "buckle up" for the exciting ride ahead. He said to the audience, "This is my family right here. These are the guys that make me wanna be better and be great. Fellas, I love y'all and I couldn't have done it without you. Thank you guys. I want to thank the fans in the building at the fans at home. I love you guys. I do this all for you guys. You make me wanna be a better songwriter, a better performer and a better entertainer. Innovator is a very heavy word, and I'm so honoured [for this award]." He continued, " I don't know where we're going yet, but we're going, so keep up."
