Sir Rod Stewart offered an apology Friday after he re-enacted an ISIS-style beheading and posted the video to his Instagram. The now-deleted video clip was filmed in the Abu Dhabi desert and featured the British musician trekking through the sand with his friends before Stewart makes a cutting motion across the throat of the man kneeling in front of him. The footage sparked outrage across social media. Stewart responded to the critiques via Twitter, writing, ?From re-enacting the Beatles? Abbey Road crossing to spontaneously playing out ?Game Of Thrones,? we were simply larking about pre-show. Understandably, this has been misinterpreted and I send my deepest apologies to those who have been offended.?
