In his 2007 memoir, Born Standing Up, Steve Martin explained why he gave up stand-up comedy in 1981. He wrote, ?My act was conceptual. Once the concept was stated, and everybody understood it, it was done.? While he may have given up performing the art form, he's about to teach an online class about it. According to Variety, Martin will be teaching a MasterClass for $90. The class includes 25 instructional videos, a class workbook, and actual office hours.
