Since it was announced that the mutant Cable would co-star in the sequel to
Deadpool, rumors have been flying around surrounding who would play the time traveling telekinetic hero. Last week, Rob Liefeld, the comic book artist responsible for the creation of the Deadpool and Cable characters, tweeted at Academy Award-winner Russell Crowe suggesting that he should read for the role, writing, "@russellcrowe you should read for #Cable in Deadpool and X-Force.
