Rampant speculation over the casting in Deadpool 2. A few days ago, Russell Crowe exchanged tweets with Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld. Crowe is obviously interested in playing the role of Cable in Deadpool 2. Cable is turning out to be the hottest gig in Hollywood at the moment. The conversation between Crowe and Liefeld encouraged Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds to get Crowe an audition for the role with Liefeld. No news has surfaced if Crowe actually got the audition or if he secured the part.
