As Hollywood mourns the loss of Bill Paxton, Training Day, the CBS drama on which the actor starred, will reportedly open with a dedication to the actor on Thursday. Paxton headlined the freshman series, a remake of the 2001 film, and had completed his work on all 13 episodes before his untimely death due to complications of a heart surgery on Saturday. Production completed on season one in December, with four episodes of the series having already aired. Paxton starred opposite newcomer Justin Cornwell as a seasoned, morally ambiguous detective who is part of an elite LAPD squad.
