Tension was high as well as shock after presenters Warren Beaty and Faye Dunaway announced the wrong recipient for Best Picture at Sunday night's Academy Awards. After announcing that the winner was La La Land, it was soon discovered they had been given the wrong envelope and the correct winner was Moonlight. Host Jimmy Kimmel attempted to make light of the situation saying to Kelly Ripa in an interview afterward, "Can I tell you something? I did do it, I thought it would be funny."
