VIDEO : Brie Larson 'lucked out' with Kong: Skull Island

Celebrity in this news:

Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson couldn't have asked for a better experience for her first time working with Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) technology and insisted it is just as easy to "connect" with nature as it is a co-star. Larson plays photojournalist and peace activist Mason Weaverin the film Kong: Skull Island. She said: "I really lucked out with this being my first movie that relied on CGI. My character is coming from this place of deep compassion for nature and untouched land, and we were shooting in places that were untouched and hadn't been seen on screen before. I got to really connect with it." The 27-year-old actress and her co-stars - including Tom Hiddleston, John C. Reilly and John Goodman - relied a lot on music to help "orchestrate" the right "vibe" during the CGI scenes.
