Fans were distraught to see Connie Britton's character, Rayna Jaymes, go on Thursday's episode of the hit CMT show 'Nashville.' Onscreen, there was a heartbreaking goodbye as Rayna flatlined in the hospital from a fatal car accident as her family stood around her. As for why Britton decided to leave the show, she told producers when the show was picked up by CMT that she felt it was time to move on creatively.
