During her interview with Jimmy Fallon on ?The Tonight Show,? Susan Sarandon discussed her performance as Bette Davis and her character's relationship to Joan Crawford who is being played by Jessica Lange in a new series ?Feud.? Sarandon stated, ?There were a lot of people who pitted them against each other for a lot of reasons. They had kind of innate jealousies and things and you know they want to keep women apart because together we?re just so powerful.
