Dylan McDermott is gearing up for his next television role in a comedy series. "The Practice" and "American Horror Story" actor joined the upcoming Fox comedy pilot "LA to Vegas." According to reports, the half-hour sitcom focuses on a group of underdogs share the same goal: to come back to LA from Las Vegas as a winner in the casino of life. McDermontt's character, Captain Dave, is described as the all-American pilot on Flight 1710 who is cocky but also a baby. 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" writer, Lon Zimmet, is set to produce the project, while "Modern Family's" co-creator Steve Levitan is directing the pilot episode.
