The worldwide promotional tour for the new, live-action version of 'Beauty and the Beast' kicked off this week in Paris, but it was Thursday's stop in London that showed Emma Watson as the real 'Belle' of the ball. Her bespoke, eco-conscious dress was designed by Emilia Wickstead, with styling by Rebecca Corbin-Murray. Watson and Corbin-Murray teamed up before the tour to create an instagram account celebrating the sustainable pieces that Watson will be wearing. The cause is important to Watson, and with an anticipated blockbuster on the horizon, is also expected to raise awareness in millions. Director Bill Condon described Watson as "the person, both on screen and off, who best reflected the qualities that Belle embodied." To a new generation of 'Beauty and the Beast' fans, Watson will forever be the face and voice of Belle, a responsibility Watson carries with pride and excitement, saying that Belle's superpower is empathy. 'Beauty and the Beast' premieres in theaters March 17, 2017.
