She won critical acclaim for her role in the Shonda Rhimes series 'How To Get Away With Murder.' The role snagged her an Emmy. Davis also starred opposite Denzel Washington in Fences when it was a play on Broadway. Her performance was so electric that Washington hired her to reprise the role when he brought the play to the big screen.
