In just a few short weeks, Legendary will release a new version of King Kong with Kong: Skull Island. The movie will serve as the second installment in their Monsterverse set to include the Eighth Wonder of the World and Godzilla. The latter has already scored with a successful solo movie, and from the look of Skull Island?s marketing, Warner Bros. is eager to connect the two franchises.
