To honor David Bowie, activists and artists want to create a permanent memorial in Bowie's London neighborhood. Plans for a three-story tall lightning bolt sculpture were unveiled on Tuesday. The artists proposed to install the sculpture across from the Brixton underground station next to a mural of Bowie. A crowdfunding campaign to raise 1 million pounds has been started by the artists. David Bowie was born David Jones on Jan. 8, 1947, in Brixton.
