Milo Ventimiglia, the actor portraying father figure Jack Pearson on NBC's This Is Us, took to Twitter today to warn fans about tonight's particularly emotional episode by penning an excuse note. In the episode, titled "Memphis," Randall and William take a trip to Memphis, Tennessee, so Randall can learn about his biological father's past. Show producer Dan Fogelman and Ventimiglia's TV wife, Mandy Moore, used Twitter to echo his sentiments.
