According to a report, Oscar-winning actor Tom Hanks will debut a set of short stories in October 2017. Hanks' first book, which is titled, "UNCOMMON TYPE: Some Stories," features 17 stories, each involving a different typewriter, an item Hanks is an avid collector of. According to a rep for the actor, a few of the stories involve an immigrant arriving in New York City, a bowler who becomes a celebrity and an eccentric billionaire.
